The figure below describes the product development process we follow. This process has been refined over many years and has proven to reduce the risks inherent in any new product development. This ●●●RAPID® development process works much better than traditional development processes for new product development.
●●●RAPID® Phases
The Engineering Unit is to demonstrate feasibility of the product concept. The Demo Unit has more functionality and may be used for fund raising. The Production Unit is intended for customer use.
Each ●●●RAPID® Phase is generally a composite of multiple sprints. The process is iterative and comprises analysis, design, build and evaluation sprints. Each iteration builds on the results of the previous iterations. This is illustrated in the figure below.
